Why is Color Important?
Color is one of the most important elements when it comes to web design. Color can make you look at things and direct you around the website. The first thing you probably saw was the yellow navbar with the pink standing out. Then on the main page the background is a soft pink with a thick heading and text that you are reading stands out. It is all made to be apeasing to the readers eye's and to direct their atention.
See how this image on the left does stand out but it also fits the overall page color scheme well. That's because of the color as it matches with the website, but the image on the right does not match the website and though it stands out it does not fit the color scheme. It is not as apealing to the viewer as the image that matches the overall color scheme.
The color wheel is a very useful tool to be able to compare colors together and see what would match best. There is almost an infinite amount of combinations that you could create. Try to make your own webpage and create color combinations today!
